Hello all, it's been a while but i decided to add onto my original thread.
I have been looking around half-heartedly at the new and use G35 coupe market. I have a couple more questions.
I noticed some of the older models have brembo brakes on them. Was this an option? The newer '05's and now the '06 do not seem to have this option listed at all. I have seen more than one G35 with them and the people driving them do not seem the type to modify their cars.
Also, how easy is it to replace the stereo with a quality aftermarket unit? One thing I am not impressed by with the G35 is the premium 250watt stereo. It sounded very poor to me, especially with the windows down crusing on the highway. Are there any improvements to the stereo in the '06 model??
Also, is there an aftermarket shifter available??

Sorry, did a quick skim to see if that one got answered and I guess i missed it. Thanks.

Ok here's a big question that may be a little complicated?
WHat are the major differences between thew 03-04 and 05-06 G35's??
Visually I notice the wheels and colors as well as brakes, but what interior and mechanical differences are there? What was the first year for the 298HP engine?
Are the 05+ considered improved over the 03-04?

Hey All,
I wanted to get back to Mustang5L5 original question. I'm also considering trading in my car for a new 06' G. I have a 02' modded Z28 but still owe $10K on the loan. Yup, I have made minimum payments all throughout the term of the loan.
I'm paying roughly $65-80 in gas a week and it's starting to weigh heavily in my desire to trade/sell this car. Are Infinity dealers less likely to trade for your car if you still owe on the loan. Am I just better off selling the car to a private buyer?
