Anyone regret getting the 6MT?

Hey,
I did a search before and only found a thread if people regret getting a 5AT. Well, I just wanted to hear what people think with their 6MT, if they regret getting it or not. Would you get a 6MT over again? Thanks.

I've had my 6mt for about 2 years now -- in Atlanta.

I love it! Soooooooo glad I got the 6mt, but then it was never a question for me. Some people complain about notchiness through the gears, but I don't feel that at all. I think it is smooth and intuitive. I love the Brembos also.

I highly recommend the 6mt, no matter where you live!

I wouldn't think anyone would regret getting a 6MT, considering it was probably their first choice as opposed to getting a 5AT. I know a bunch of people who just settle for a 5AT 'cause a 6MT isn't available with the color/options that they want, but no one EVER settles for a 6MT.

My previous 4 cars have all been a manual transmission. As I get older, I might tire of the shifting at some point. However, I cannot see myself driving a car with an automatic transmission at this time.

I have had my G for some 5k miles and it has been a thrill to drive, thus far.

Peopl who get 6MT on this car know thats the only thing they would settle for...out of everyone here you might find one or two people who COULD settle for an AT even though they bought a 6MT.

Do I regret it?
HELL NO.

i don't think anyone would regret getting the 6MT except like the one time mentioned, in dead traffic..

i regret getting the 5AT more than you can imagine.. the lack of having true control of power in your car.. makes me sad..

No regrets; been driving manuals for 24 years and wouldn't have it any other way. I do have a second car that is usually automatic for rainy lazy days etc.

Also, there is no way a 5AT can come close to the MPG's I get with this 6MT
(25MPG normal weekday driving, 19MPG running the G hard on weekends , and I've gotten as high as 28MPG on vacation, just cruising the freeways 65-85MPH)
