Having troubles decideing between G35 or 350Z
I've been planning on buying a G35 coupe for a while but just recently my attention has been deverted to the 350Z. I like the fact that the g35 has back seats but as for the 350.. they have some wicked kits. I'm just so confused... anyones opinions would help a lot.

Depends on what you're looking for man. for practicality, go with the G, back seats, trunk though small. with the Z it's more of a sports car, not as luxurious as the G. If you just want a show car and kit it out get the Z, there are more options, but keep in mind it will cost lots of money.
if u wanna put a kit on ur car get a Z, G35's are for class. backseat incase u need it, IMO looks better too.
i loved driving the Z, but in the long run i lvoe having the backseat n the classy look of the G.
Z also is higher on insurance, not that it matters to u

i was in the same catagory as you, but the g holds residual better, its a better quality product, the z is not as nice, the body of the z is nice, but the g is a skyline, which is very impressive. the g also is faster 6mt. the g is sleeek, and looks great. the g has alot more features for your money, sport luxury. not just sport. the g is much hotter. and much classier. and you can get a better deal on the g, then the z. its a no brainer. its like saying getting a camaro, or a vette, obviously you get a vette!
well i'm leaning towards the G... but i also want some what of a show car at the same time. My plan was to get a custom kit on the G but I don't know if that's possible and if it is..... how much do you think i'll be looking on spending? Lets just say for example... for the front lip? Not custom made... but a conversion from another kit that belongs to another car to make it fit on the infinity
I really wanted the Z, but there was one huge thing i couldn't get past. It was the door handles it just seemed like they were an afterthought. It may seem kind of silly, yes i know you could paint match them.

I was in the same position, but for different reasons.. I thought the G looked better, and the back seats were nice, but they add weight... At the time I was planning to use the car for the track and wanted the Z, but the G just looked so much nicer to me in my opinion... I ended up getting the G and have used it in a couple of autocrosses.. Its a little bit on the fat and heavy side in my opinion, but the suspension is pretty damn good, and the engine responds nicely too.. A friend of mine got a Z a few months after I got my G and we did some testing with them.. He still hasnt gone to any track events, so I don't know how the two will compare, but I would suspect that he should do better.. I've taken his car in some spirited runs, and yes, its a lot more fun than driving my G. It didn't touch my old S2000 as far as the fun factor, but it was better than the G. We also raced from a dig to the top of 3rd gear about half a dozen times, and by the end of it, hes very slowly pulling on me and my front end is at his door.. I can honestly say that the Z's looks started to grow more on me, and it really does look a lot better in person and up close than in pictures.. The G just looks good no matter what though and it still performs quite well. I think i made the right choice overall..
Regardless of which car you may or may not purchase . . . Be a prudent and informed consumer. Search for and study all info on both cars, which will help you to better determine which car is suited better for you. And above all . . . Test drive both cars a few times. Good luck to you on your search.
I say test drive both, weigh out your essential factors (pros and cons) of each, the one with the most pros is the one you should end up with, (as long as you know it will make you happy). Both are great choices.
Yeah but i like the G... but do you know if i can convert a kit from another car to fit on the infinity? Just knowing that would make a huge difference in how i thought depending on the answer. I like the G over all.... it's just the kit I'm now worried about
basically to make this more simple... i like the look of the 350z but it's too played out i think... i want an infinity but i want something that nobody else has done. I want all the features it has already... but i want it modified so it looks crazy and stands out from every other G that you'll see or heard of so far
