Any concern an owner has regarding his vehicle is a valid concern, imo. This from what I've read in this forum and most others I'm a member of. Gas has dropped but it will go up again. Insurance rates might be different from a G and a Prius. Operating cost are important issues when buying a car. I'm riding, for example, a BlackBird, not a Duc, for that reason. All my opinion, of course.
