Extended Warranty - Worth It?

I got a postcard in the mail the other day saying this is my "final reminder" to get the extended warranty on my '05 Coupe. My questions:

1. Who has the extended warranty, and do you feel that it's worth the extra cost ($899 for 6 yrs / 70k miles, or $1525 for 7 yrs / 100k miles)?

2. I've read several posts saying that the Infiniti warranty sucks...why?

3. Is this warranty transferrable to a second owner?

Thanks for reading.

I bought the 100,000 mile one for my 05 G35X. Cost was around $1450. You can deal a little on the price (call around). They do a pro rate refund if you sell your car early. It is transferrable. Was it worth it? We shall see, guess I was paranoid about all the little things (multiple GM owner). I do plan on having the car for awhile.

It depends how long you will keep your car, if its past 4 years then Id prolly get it cuz of all the small problems I keep hearing like window motors, rear axles, bose units, etc etc.

It's a simple decision.
Either you buy the extended warranty because you believe that you will incur repairs costs that will total more than the cost of the warranty or you don't because you believe that you won't. And yes they ARE negotiable.
All car makes have issues. The warranties very often pay for themselves.
As far as which one to get.. ask a service writer at the dealer where you plan to have it serviced which one they recommend. They deal with the warranty company reps and know who denies what. They also don't make money from you buying one.
