Newbie: Buying a 2004 G35 Coupe, needs advice
Hi all,
This is my first post here. I am looking to buy a 2004 G35 coupe, 6-speed, 18 inch. this month.
I would like to know if there any reliability issues (heard something about the brembo brakes), anything special to avoid or must haves etc.
Thank you.

The Brembos are not an issue. There is an extended warranty on the standard brakes, but not the Brembos. They do dust a lot, but the modulation, feel and fad resistance is top notch. When they are ready for replacement, however, the parts cost is high. I guess, you get what you pay for.
Look for a low mileage car that has not been abused. The only interior feature I really miss, I have an '03, is power recline and memory of the driver's seat back.
However, you may be able to find a left over '05 for a good price if you look around. Coupes hold their value very well, and you may do almost as well with a new car.
