The 07 wont be available ill October atleast. If you dont have an urgent need for a new car, you can wait and see what the redesign looks like. The 07 will most definitely have a power increase that I can guarantee esp with the new IS350 knocking the G off as the class leader. Rest of the changes are going to be evolutionary, like the 05 to 06 changes. They wont mess with a good thing, so it may have say better bluetooth, navi that is integrated with phone, sat radio, push button start etc. I had to get a car before the end of this year since my current car is past its prime and I couldnt wait till next october to get the 07 so I just went with the 06. If the 07 is that much of an improvement I may just trade in the 06.

Personally, I would wait. You don't want a car in the last year of a model run either, it'll depreciate very fast, plus you'll have some serious envy when the 07s hit the streets. I was even thinking of not modding my 03, and just wait for the 07. But next time I may not buy new, so I plan on just modding my 03 for now and buy a used 07 in about 3 years. If you need a car, buy a used G, then decide if you want the 07 - if you do, the depreciation won't be as big a hit. I have high hopes for the next G, love my current car, but I itch for a more aggressive sedan appearance and a better styled interior. But I hope it won't go up much in $.

Is it worth spending the extra loot for all that? what shall you recommend?
