What a disgrace.

I went by the Infiniti Dealership today and finally got to drive a G, it was an 03 w\ every option(auto). Damn did I like that car infact I loved it I wouldn't driven it off the lot today but there was a problem. I want to trade my 05 Evo for it w\ 10000 miles and the SSL package. They only offered me 23k, 23k!! forget that. For the G35 coupe they said they'd get rid of that for 27,900 but it was in BAD condition. I owe 16k on my evo and I kind of atleast wanted to keep my payments at 350 but it wasn't happening. So I told the sales manager I wanted to keep it around 350 and he said ok...but I still thought I could do better. You guys think its possible for me to get a G at an auction possibly because the dealers just aren't cutting it. I mean I just bought the evo a 11 months ago for 35k. ugh.

You should try to do a private party sale. I bet you could easily sell the EVO for $28k.

yeah if your evo is in good condition you should sell it locally. SSL helps a lot. black leather recaros > ugly *** blue ones.

Yes, sell it private party. Don't you know the dealers will not give you a good price on trade-in? You can get a used g35 from private party too, and save some $$ by not buying from the dealerships.

First of all, why in the world you want to trade your 05 EVO for 03 G? not only you goning to be paying more, and getting an older car with higher mileage! never mind that you might be somewhat disappointed with G's performance.

Now, if you still decide to go ahead with that purchase? you should able to get 03 G for 25~26K depends on options/mileage/conditions, I found no less than 9 03 G coupes with asking price of 27k or less on autotrader.com in my area...like others have said, try to sell your EVO privatly, trade it in as only last resort. To keep the payment at 350, you cant finance more than 18k for 5 years(352/mos with 6.5% rate), I would really suggest that you keep your EVO!

Well the reason I am trying to get rid of my evo is because its not for me anymore. I don't need the performance driving through the city or the AWD either in that case. The Evo is a great car I just want a little luxury and I drove a G35 coupe the other day and I loved everything about it, the interior, the ride(quiet), coupe and the looks.

also im not really looking for an 03, its just what they had. Depending on the price i'd get an 03 or an 04.

im paying 350 for my evo right now monthly. Thats for 5 years, I already have a year paid off. This is my thinking I owe about 15k because I put down 17. Now if I sell my car for 28-30k that leaves me w\ 13-15k. Then I get an 04 G w\ average miles and pretty good options for like 24-25 (assume I get 28k) i'd only owe 12k on my loan. The way I see it my payment for 5 years would only be about 220 a month.
