Need help and advice on buying 06 6MT!
Here is my story, I have purchased and financed a pre-owned certified 2002 Nissan Altima 2.5SL now with 76K miles and 8 months into the payments and as of now I have $14K left to financed. I want to trade it in for the 06 6MT G coupe with premium package package. KBB value for the trade in is as followed:
Excellent:$9275
Good:$8555
Fair:$7295
And the dealers retail value from KBB is expected to sell the car for like $13,670. I know that I am going to loss alot of money for the dealers trade in as I was to sell to it privately but I decided to do the trade in anyway. The car is between the Good and excellent condition. The car has 25k miles left in the warranty so do you think because it is a pre-owned certified and has warranty left, maybe the dealers will give me more of what the KBB values are. I am hoping to get $11k or better for the car. I will have $12K for the downpayment for the G coupe. So first of all my question is the sales tax that I have paid for the altima will I have that tax credit towards the new purchased and second I have also have paid $1000 for the Nissan Security+PLUS on top of the Nissan factory warranty of 3 year 100K so are they going to reimbursed me that $1000. And last but not least what do you guys paid for the 06 6MT with premium package. Any of you knows of any 05 6MT left in the tri-state, NY areas maybe I can get a good deal on it. This is important to me as I am looking to buy the G in two weeks and I don't want to deal with shady dealerships and have bad customer service so from your buying experience what would you guys recommend as the best Infiniti dealers in the tri-state area in customer service and sell the G at invoice or better and sale person name would be helpful also.

Myabe cus the locations but I came up witt silghtly bit higher trade-in vaule than yours, 11.5k/10.7k/9.6k with just standard equipments, I would not expect dealer offer you higher than "good" conditions price for a trade-in.
I dont think or have I heard of anyone getting "tax credit" from previously paid sale's tax, you willing be paying sale's tax on full purchase amount of "new" car, at leaset here in Cali.
You might get unuesed portion(prorated) of your extend wrranty back.
There are couple of guys here who is a "saleman" for Infiniti in you area, one "da mayor" at Infiniti of Massapequa, and other is "therelkingofny" at Broadalbin, NY (Capital District), try to PM them and see what they can do for you, I have no personl associations/experience with them, so use them at your own risk.
