I'm looking into buying a base model '06 G35c 6MT (no options) and I've done some calculations based on MSRP and invoice prices and dealer holdback of 1% and came out with a target price of $33,271 OTD (tax and title included). I haven't been to any of the dealerships to look at the prices yet, so don't flame me if that price seems ridiculous to you. I just want to get a range of what some of you guys paid. Thanks!

Judging from ur target price I don't think you're off by much. I'm in the process of getting the same car except fully loaded (without aero and sat. radio) and I've been quoted $100 bucks above invoice (tax and title not included).

I think the only problem you might run into is that most dealerships may not have a black on black base model on the lot. Just my .02 (and it's my first post at that).

Found one, MSRP=$34,380, selling to me for $31661+ttl, so it'll be approximately $34384. Good deal? Edmund's invoice price is $31,734 so I win a little there, but ttl kills it. It's also almost $1100 over my target price.

Geee...you are getting it bit below invoice, and you asking if its a good deal? ...Its very unlikely the dealership will going into their "hold back" less than half way thru the model year, I dont think your target price of $33,271 OTD was realistic to begin with...One question, do you have a trade in?

 

Wow, the dealer gave me the wrong price, it was supposed to be $1000 more, so $32661+ttl. No, I don't have a trade in.

 

Ahhh...Thats more like it , I was bit surprised that they offer you such low price so willingly, thats why I asked if you have a trade-in, cus they might low ball you on the trade and then offer you low price on the new car...I would aim for no higher than 300 above invoice, then again its hard to find an no optioned G35 coupe.

I hope it's okay if I pop in here. 3 weeks ago I ordered an 06-6MT fully loaded with every option from Team Infiniti of Oxnard Online Sales. Now I don't have the final dollar figure yet because I'm having some modifications done to it when it comes in. But he originally quoted me a $37,000. price before tax, license and fees. I have the e-mail at home that gives the exact price. $100.00 over is what he quoted. I have done quite a bit of shopping and this has been the best price. I also live 2 hrs. north of the closest Infiniti dealer (thats oxnard) and they will p/u for servicing or bring back up to me after servicing which is worth a little extra in my book. I don't plan on using that service but you never know. I'm kind of uncomfortable with anyone driving my car, even my husband. I also have really enjoyed the buying experience so far with them. I can post the internet salemans name and number if anyone is interested.

Yes; I was pretty skeptical when you said you were getting it for under invoice...but I thought to myself crazier sh*t has happened. This is the price I paid for my 06 base coupe no options....31184 (including destination charge; price before destination was 100 over listed edmunds invoice. And the only reason I was able to get a set price of 100 over is because my company has an account w/ the dealership I went to. However; Lawrence at Tustin was much more willing to negotiate price than say Cerritos; who wouldn't budge under 600 over. Someone in another thread did say that destination is included in invoice?!? If so; the dealership got me good. With TTL in Orange County; CA; my OTD price was 33922. I believe the invoice on manual is around 31100. Try to get as close to that as possible.

 

Most of the South Coast dealerships are shady as hell and their mechanics are for the main part people who shouldn't be allowed near a car; nonetheless a g35.

 

I just dont see spending over 30K on a car for a base model?
