Coupe w/400 month payments
Hey guys, I haven't got to go around to a lot of dealerships yet, just one around syracuse, and i was quoted for a 36k invoice price of the coupe, for abou 680 for 2 years and 650 for 3 years, with absolutely nothing down except for first monthly payments and registration fees, to come out to around $900 if I were to go with 3 years. is there anything i can do, besides put money down, to try and get this car for around 400/month? i'm paying around that price for my current sedan, and I can't understand how a 1k difference in invoice price on the coupe could change payments by over 200 a month? is it possible that i'm looking at the wrong time for this car and wait until later in the year?
Spread the term out, try 60 months or 5 years, but it still won't be $400 dollars a month. Also is this a lease? What kind of interest rate on the sedan did you get originally, was there a down payment on your sedan?

When you said "invoice" price do you mean they sell/lease it to you for the invoice price? I am not sure how you leased sedan of 200 bucks less but I am willing to bet that sedan was lot cheaper than just 1k.
Assume couple things, MSRP of 39K, leased price of 36k, residual of 57% and M/F of 0.0025(6%) the payment should be 528/36mos or 473/42mos plus your local sales tax. keep in mind just because you only paying 900 out of pocket for fees, that doesnt mean dealership didnt add other fees into your leasing price, it look like they sell it to you at MSRP, cus for 39k leased price the payment work out to be 619 plus tax, you need to find out what is your M/F and residual vaule.
