Thumbs up

Insured through Wawanesa. $1100 per year in Athabasca, Alberta (120KM north of Edmonton). I'm 25. Would have been a little over $2000 last year but they gave me the 25 year old rate.

Hey guys I got a pretty nice quote from Meloche, it's my families insurance, so they gave me a prety good deal cause of everything we have, for a 2003 G35, I'm 25 in July, they offering $2600 for $500 ded, think it's a great deal, called other companies and was advised $4500-5000 for same thing

My Insurance Premium

I'd have to say I probably have one of the best Insurance Premiums Anywhere. TO date most people dont get it or understand how inexpensive my Insurance Premium is for my 03 G35c.

at age 23 My premium for the year was about $3000 per yr. Now at age 27 I my premium for the yr is $2100 with Pilot Insurance. But apparently Pilot Insurance only takes the best drivers on the road who are 6 star drivers etc.

03 G35c
5At Performance 18" Chrome package w/ NAVI. Gotta love the Infiniti NAVI. One of the best out there!
Brilliant Silver
I dont believe in "Soupin Up"

I was probable one of the First G35c owners in 2003 when it was first launched. When I had one there were hardly any aroound town now even they are becoming dime a dozen. Its time for a new car. My 4 yr Lease ends in March..FInally!
I cant wait till the 07 model. Just might be my next new car.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but a broker usually places about 60% f it's new business with Pilot.
Contrary to popular belief, a broker does not automatically shop for the best rate. The best rate may not be the best insurance (ie claims etc).
They usually put you with one of four companies, Pilot, Dominion, Economical, ING and that is it. If you really scream about your rates, they may put you with a discount company (good luck with the claims).
You want to trust the person you are dealing with, that is the main thing.
Often you get people that shop around for the best rate all of the time and you may be able to get a better rate than you have now, but you never know about next year (the comapny that you switched to may have been late with an increase.)
Your best bet is to find a rate you are comfortable with and a person you can trust and you will be OK.
There is nothing like having a person you trust on your side when your house burns down.
You forget all about the rate at that time.
I am in the business and I know first hand.
Take care
Matt

Just got a pleasant suprise. My insurance is down from last year. Was about $1150, now is $1005 per year. So much less than my friends pay.

03 G Sedan. 25 years old, clean record.

I'm bringing this thread back for some info from the Canadian guys....

I would like to know from fellow Canadian members what their insurance companies say about "modifications" to your vehicle.

My insurance company is giving me a hard time about my car being lowered." If I hit a bump in the road, I might loose control of the car"...what rubbish!!!!

All the other mods are ok. They have given me until next April to revert back to OEM springs.

Thanks everyone...

Bill

Is that really "inexpensive" for insurance with "6 star drivers only" whatever that means? I pay just over 1/3 of what you do.

I think you mean the '08 model. Shouldn't be long before they're a dime a dozen too.

Good question Bill. It's not something I've given any consideration to.
