Hi Everyone

I'm Andrew, 23 years old from Mississauga, and I just picked up my new (used) 2004 black obsidian coupe and wanted to introduce myself. Drove it home today from Cambridge and I was smiling home the whole way

Pics will be posted after my first wash...sometime very soon.

All my previous cars were vws and I am a huge vw nerd, but I needed to step it up and get a G. An amazing car in every regard. I am very happy with my purchase, and I am very amazed that I don't have an ounce of buyers remorse. Incredible what these cars do to you.

I just realized there is a Canada forum here and I am very happy about that.

I decided to save some money and safety the car myself...there is nothing wrong with it, it will just cost me the hassle of driving it to a shop to check it out. Is it worth taking it to the dealer and have a Safety done there? If so, how is Dixie/401 Infiniti, as they are closest to my house.

Oh and i am planning on getting some rims, DPE or VOLKS are on the top of my list right now. Any dealers in the GTA?

Great cars, I was actually considering Audi A4s for a while, but obviously decided against that

Looked at the A4 as well.
My last car was a Passat.

Had a nice test drive in a A3 3.2Q with DSG this spring
Sure wish we could get a tranny like that.

I am just learning how to detail myself. From what little I have done so far, it has been very rewarding!

There isn't one set up on the future yet. One was done a while back, Kevin taught us all and did a great write up on how to and what product to use. I had some experience with a portacable so it was the products he recommend that I use to have my car look like that. I will take a picture tomorrow in the sun. It is amazing that I can make it look like that. My arms and wrist and legs are sore is a great work out for sure.

If there is no lesson set up give me a ping we can meet up somewhere and talk about your new car etc.

Speaking of which I think is time for a meet!!
