Re: Anyone comes from Montreal?
I'm an ex-Montrealer now in Toronto. I do make trips back to my old stomping grounds about 3-4 times a year. The G35 is a smooth highway ride and I enjoy every minute of it.

Re: Anyone comes from Montreal?
Welcome to G35Driver, and g/l with your future G purchase.
It's pretty well accepted that north of the border, you need snowtires (4) for safe operation of both Coupe and Sedans.
I've got a Coupe now and of course snows for it. It's great in the winter months....no issues at all.
I had a Sedan b4 and also had snows for it. Likewise the driveability was fine with the snows with no issues.
The rear drive rides are good with the snows- I would say on a par with front drivers I've had.
I'd be tempted to get the AWD Sedan if I wear to buy another Sedan. From what I've heard, the AWD is well worth the extra dough.
Good luck with your G purchase.

Re: Anyone comes from Montreal?
Well i am back !! I just got my coupe and returned my sedan this afternoon.
Silverstone with performance package (at the last minute changed to a AT due to the time i spend in traffic). After 22months in the sedan I needed a change and could not find anything on the market that could satisty me..I guess i am G hooked
My tested cars :
BMW330I with M performance package
Volvo S60R Manual
Saab 95 Aero
Audi S4 *10,000km used(was my first choice) but insurance was way too high.
I will be looking to increase HP/Torque in the near future with a family oriented budget ! hummm ..
Cheers

Re: Anyone comes from Montreal?
Hey Andrew, welcome back, and congrats on the new ride. Sounds like a twin to mine--you got Navi?
As good as the Sedan was, you'll like the Coupe more, altho you'll miss the comfy back seats and easy access. Not to mention the roomier trunk. haha
I've got a Borla TD, Crawford Plenum, & K&N Typhoon intake on mine and love it. HP is ample at about 300 (crank). Good performance without breaking the bank.
Be sure to post some pics when you can. In the meantime enjoy.

Re: Anyone comes from Montreal?
Thx Collin No Navi I was told that i got the last 2004 Silverstone AT coupe in Quebec.
Today: I am getting my tints at lazer auto done this Morning and a Stillen SS Catback installed in the afternoon. (purchased from spinal66)
On Saturday Ian from Trimline will be clear-bra'ing the entire car front/hood/back/trunk lip/mirrors.
Sunday: I will replace the tweeters ,and 6.5" speakers in the doors with some Infiniti Kappa's (i am on a budget).
I would love to get the Crawford plenum but I will sell this car in 2 -3 years approx and would like the original plenum back on it.
As for air intake ? i don't know what to do ?? do i go Z tube and stillen box.. I am afraid of Injen for water and snow ? I will look into your typhoon.
Pics will be taken
regards
