Thought the plexiglass was dirty on my dash dials. But when I cleaned them the cloudyness remained. It looks like there is moisture on the inside of the dash and the dials are cloudy. Any ideas?

 

Are you sure it's moisture Sam
Maybe the previous owner wiped them in the same fashion as they washed the exterior.
If so, they should polish up with some 3M glass & plastic polish.

Sam. I've got some Plast-X so don't buy any. this stuff works super, and if it's scratches and roughness, this will take care of it.
Hopefully it's not moisture.......I believe there's a TSB on that issue at Infiniti Help.

I find that a little sprinkle of gold bond powder keeps my boys nice and dry under my speedos.

I tried looking for the TSB and no luck. I got the same thing...except it almost looks like a layer of the plexiglass is bubbling in places and its really annoying

I wonder if that plast-x stuff would work for me....if not should I try taking it in for warranty?? I bought the car used and it had this, so I dont know if the PO cleaned it with something too volatile for the plastic...

 

That's a good possibility DS, so warranty may not apply. Give it a try tho.......they can only say no, and you might get lucky.
If all else fails and it is on the surface, Plast-X will make it shine again....I notice it's available at CTC now (about $8) so have a look there.

The TSB I mentioned concerns a leak around the windshield which in turn could eventually affect the gauge pods.
