Yes that seems to be the norm. You actually have something called competition. We're consistently in the highest quintile.
I just finished watching the news. Tomorrow our prices go down 4.5 cents per litre. Whew big jump.

^ Yes prety well the same. They can jump in a week early and make a change quicker than that using an "interrupter clause" when appropriate, such as today. It is expected prices will go down 4-5 cents today.
We had a poll released today that had 66% of people against gas regulation and 27% of people for with 7% undecided or unresponsive. It costs millions to regulate and all it does it give a couple of weeks of "stability'- not lower prices as some might mistakenly think. In fact it ensures a level of profitability for retailers and causes higher prices. It's just wrong. I hope our idiotic government gets rid of it soon along with our archaic No Sunday shopping legislation. Fortunately our big grocery stores are now fighting it in court and are expected to to prove how discriminatory the recently revamped law is.
I love this Province but not how slow it is to come into the 21st century.

There has been a lot of uproar here in NB ever since gas prices have been gov't regulated. I thought it was a great idea at first.........then I got to understand how it really works. I don't like it at all either, and most people don't here in NB.
I didn't know NS still doesn't allow Sunday shopping! I agree with you, that is VERY archaic indeed.
