It's at 500 km right now and I want to ask if it is normal to feel a slight vibration in the brakes when I brake moderately at highway speed? I can also hear it and it feels/sounds like the rotors are slightly warpped? Is that possible on a new car?

Also, the steering doesn't feel as smooth as I'd like on the straight. It's not vibrating that much but I do feel something, like the wheels are not balanced? Or is that just the "road feel".

I don't want to make a big deal and bring it in the dealer if these are supposed to be normal, but I don't think it's normal.

Anyone have experienced these situations?
As others have said that's not a normal brake issue with a new car. The feeling you are getting through the steering wheel as well without braking is another indicator of a potential front rotor being warped. Get them replaced and not turned down. It's also possible the vibration is a different problem like wheels out of balance.

BTW I just had front rotors replaced under warranty on my company Dodge Caravan. Same issue. Vehicle was 11.5 months old w/ 14K on it. Perfect now.

Thanks, guys. I will for sure ask for rotor(s) replacement if it's because of the rotors. Warranty work is covered by Infiniti anyway so I don't think the dealer will argue with me about resurfacing vs replacement ...
