Watch out at Sams Club or Costco!

Did my good deed for the year...saved a Silver G35x from being smashed by a runaway shopping cart in the Richmond Hill Sam's Club on Sunday. It was quite a windy day.

I noticed how ignorant people are at these places...just toss the cart away in the lot. It happens quite a lot so I take my wife's minivan instead...hehehe.

Just beware...

reminds me of the VW(?) commerical where you see a shopping cart creeping up to the car, only to have a man dive head first tackling the cart to save the car.

good job! The world would be a better place if there were more courteous people like you!

I always park far away, upwind and if the lot has a slope uphill,
or take my truck.

Love that ad...

...always could make me laugh. I guess because I'm exactly the same.

Don't you love when you park FAR away and UPHILL and UPWIND with no one around for miles, that someone STILL manages to park RIGHT beside you?? Gawd, I hate that...

Thumbs up

Nice!!!

I always try to park uphill, upwind, and far away. Then as I trek back to the entrance of the store I collect shopping carts along the way. I'll be pushing 3 carts back to the store and people look at me like I'm crazy.

LOL, yeah, the ones who don't care about the carts don't care about dings or dents in their fenders either......
What's important for them is to park as near the front door as possible....

I think those people don't get any dings. They just leave it and take off. It's people like us that care that get hit. Hence the shopping cart into my driver door.

I can never figure it out. My wife's uncle always parks his new Mercedes, and other cars front and center and no door dings on their cars. I have checked them before and couldn't believe it no dings. They just laugh when they see where I park.
