fuel injection cleaning?

I've had mine out when I did the fuel system. It's not that hard if you are mechanically inclined. You will probably want to replace the o-rings on the injectors at the same time. If I remember right there are three per injector. Remember that the fuel is pressurized so when you take them out the fuel is going to spray unless you relieve the pressure somehow, usually be letting the car sit for awhile without turning on the key.

There sould be a fuel pump fuse, pull it while the engine is running. That should relieve the pressure.

The best cleaner I have found is BG K44 cleaner. It's about $20 a can but works better than anything I have ever found. I run a can every 10k.

Wonder if that's available up here, TT?? Can you post a pic of the bottle or post up more details. Is there a phone # on the bottle?

thanks guys for the tips. actually went with a castrol fuel injection cleaner for high performance engines (200+ hp). it was on sale at candian tire . let you guys know how it goes.

i live in nyc so i want to find the cheaper way first then having to pay $125 per injector at the I-dealer.
