Feel Like I got Ripped at Wheels Direct

So putting on my rims and winter tires, it was $15 per wheel for mount and balance which was fine. Then I forgot to get tuner lugs so I just told them to put them on, the tuner lugs in total were $50 ($2 per lug), did I get ripped in the bum?

The tuner lugs had a special design which needed a key but from what I remember most stores have them for $20-30 for a full set (20 lugs).

Yikes, do they sell the regular steel ones, or only the solid gold???

Net.. that sounds about right for the set and the key......If it's the ones I'm thinking of.......

I paid $50 for my lugs and key when I got my wheels put on. I thought it was kind of steep but I was too excited to care. Anyways, it may be a bit on the expensive side but it's pretty much par for the course if you aren't specifically looking for a deal on these.

$2 per lug is the cheap side of tuner lugs. I got a set of Gorilla tuner lugs from Les Schwab at that price with the key.

You didn't get ripped off

i've seen good lugs for anywhere from $120-600 a set, so $50 isn't bad.

couldn't you have used your stock ones though?

yea they said I couldn't use the stock ones, I guess I dont' know lugs that well or something, $50 including key seemed expensive as I guess before i only needed 4 per wheel when I had my civic and i used just regular tuner lugs

The holes in the alloy wheels are likely way too small to fit the stock lug nuts in. Tuner lug nuts are much slimmer in diameter, which is why they require a special key to remove/install them.
