I also found out that they have an annual Z homecoming at Spartanburg.
Apparently thousands show up, supposedly the largest gathering of it's kind.
.... Any excuse for a road trip, I suppose

Hey Deane remember this???
.....
didn't even make to "next year" .

LOL, that's funny.
I have to think that is some kind of car to drive. You were in hook, line and sinker almost immediately smitten with the magic of the Z or should I say M?
I think I'm going to have to go back off this site. It's way too tempting.

Something else to wet the appetite
Found this elsewhere.....
He decided to break her in on the "dragon"

The next (cold) morning, I got up and drove highway 74 west to 129 north and entered "The Tail of the Dragon". It was a perfect day for driving the dragon as it was too cold for most motorcyclists' (45 degrees) and I only saw a total of 11 vehicles driving the dragon in both directions.
The dragon is an awesome road and the M Coupe is a perfect car for it. I kept the rev's down per break-in and still had a great time. The M takes corner after corner with ease. I am looking forward to going back up there once the M is though break-in.
Finished day 2 with 555 miles on the odometer.
