I believe I will give this a try if I can't find an optima yellow-top/Odyssey locally.

I've just read that g/b thread at My350Z and it seems very good for price, fit, and service. altho that g/b will be long finished by now.

Godmans, Rick06Z in BC had questions for Brock@Braille which might answer some of our questions.
Next time you're on their site, shoot both those guys a pm for details.
Looks like Brock@Braille is in Fla.

Costco stopped selling all optimas about 5 months ago anything left is dead stock. It sold for 190 when they did carry them.
Sam's club still sells them for about 183 though.

May I ask what is Sam's club and where can I find it?

I have been in touch with Brock and he is willing to have the 15lb all season batteries with mounting kit shipped to Canada @ 240US; which isn't bad IMO.

But I am trying to (double) confirm that the kit will fit a G35 and the 15lb all season battery will be able to take the Canadian winter (torture)...

Godmans, why so much trouble to reduce 15lbs from a 3500lb car?

So we're looking at about $275 CAD.
I'd like to make sure of fit, power in our climate, and how to get warranty service (shipping charges etc) b4 I commit.

We have a Sam's here in Cambridge, but I'm not a member , but I'll try to find out about a guest pass and see if I can get in.
The site Wayne posted doesn't have an online catalogue, so you've got to get in there to see what they have.

I'll try calling tomorrow for info and go from there.

Thanks for contacting Brock@Braille....

I don't see any phone #'s either in that site or in my phone book, so it means you'll have to visit one of their outlets and ask for a guest pass.

I do know Costco doesn't give merchandise info out over the phone either.

I'll see if I can get over there tomorrow ..... I'll post back.

I bought mine at Sam's because someone was kind enough to name a chain of stores after me.

I don't remember how much I paid but I think it was around $275 FWIW.

The phone numbers for the Sam's stores are under the location tab on their web site.
