I have searched through all the posts regarding rattles and noises but there does not seem to be any solution to the problem I have with my 2003.5 G35 6MT sedan. When the car goes over uneven pavement there is a cracking/popping sound coming from the general area of the front passenger door. I have driven the car with the door panel removed and the sound persists. It does not matter if the window is up or down. The dealer has replaced the window motor, greased the window rails, applied silicone to the weather stripping, and tightened all bolts on the door and under the dash even though the technicians at 401-Dixie Infiniti claim that they can't hear the noise. I really don't know where else to look and the dealer service manager is saying that they have no idea where the noise is coming from. I'm hoping that maybe someone else may have had this problem and had it fixed.

 

Go out to Oakville Infiniti....

 

I actually did go to Oakville Infiniti. They said the problem was with the door panel. I removed the door panel and drove the car but the sound is still there.

 

Check the sunroof. Hold the black frame part as you are driving and see if it's coming from there. I had a similiar noise I swore was coming from the passenger door panel. It was removed etc. I found the noise in the sunroof. Lubed the rubber and voila- gone.
