soo fun:)

yesterday i was coming back from Work..I work at GM in the truck plant. its around 11:30 at nigh as i'm coming back..i'm enjoying my time but was also tired at the same time after working a 8 hr shift..I just stood there for 8 hrs pushed a button every 30-40 sec...i got to finish a novel and not to forget i got paid $30/hr

I'm coming back on mccowwan rd, and i just crosssed steels. I'm just like there's no traffic, not many cars..plus winter is coming so i decided to have some fun with the car...Nothing too serious..i just decided to red line the car and it felttt soo good..ahah..i havent done this for verryy long time....so i was exicited..aha...260hp is good enuff for me On the next lights, i turned off VDC and wanted to know wha tthe different was, Soon as i launched..The car started skidding from the back....the civic beside me thought i'm racing him and he started racing...While i got scared and started sloowing down after the skid..end of the day, i let him go cuz i had to turn left and he turned right...he must be wondering he beat a g35..ahah

funny thing was he was having a hard time catching up to me while i stoped speeding..hehehe

it's soo fun ripping this car onces in a while...i felt alive againnnnnn

It's good to open her up WOT once in a while to get rid of all that carbon buildup. Makes the car healthier not to mention the fun factor too

Did you just say that you haven't redlined it for a while?

My G is my daily driver, and I redline it everyday just to make sure that there is so sludge buildup =)

Yet, watch it when you have your VDC off since I saw a lot of people on the MY350z.com having too much fun with their VDC off and end up fish-tail into light poles or opp. traffic; especially when it is cold

ummm are you saying its okay to launch a car like that every now and than? I was always afraid and avoided launching my car this fast....wont this do damage to the car if if i redline it every time? i know this wastes lot of fuel but other than that?

"Officer, yes I was speeding, but you must understand, I have to make sure there is no carbon or sludge buildup. You think I want to speed?"

I haven't gone past 4,500 RPM in a long time. I'm more of a laid back, "I'm important so you can wait for me to get there" kind of guy

Well..VQ is known to be "beaten...." just see how the 350z people have fun with their VQs; yet, just make sure that you are in the right situation to do the beating: i.e. your engine oil is okay (there have been report of excessive oil consumption), if you are not stock, make sure that you are not too lean, you are running the right gas such taht your engine won't ping, you are on the right stretch of road s.t. you wont give yourself troubles.... etc..

Honestly, when you bring your car into stealership, many of the techs drove the cars like they stole them anyways. If you want proof, just go to the back lot or the small roads near every dealership; you should be able to find cars being "zoomed" around.

Edit: I never turn my VDC off in the rain/winter; I just don't want to be sorry after, period

Pushing the car doesn't necessary mean speeding; but yet, the more important question is whether you are in the right situation, i.e. do you have traction and or are you in a safe zone to do that.

That's when track days come to play =)
