At my last inspection 24,000 km ..the advisor told me that my pollen filter was due to be replaced and the cost was approx 60$ he said that Infiniti suggests a replacement every 20,000-24,000 km (my memory was on the edge still thinking this is a ripp off)... I drove the car for less than one year !!

I asked if he had seen the "state" of the filter if it really had to be replaced ( he said that they get black"clogged" but that it could wait).

I asked what would be the symptom if i did not replace it ? He said the flow of air would be or is currently reduced in the cabin.
My previous cars did not have a pollen filter so I asked if they could remove it ( I don't care for pollen Its November)...

He said that they are not authorized to simply remove the filter. They must replace it.

At that point I said forget it ... I had just paid 300bucks for breaks that needed replacement after 24,000 km...and was furious about the RIPP OFF .... Second break inspection plus new pads and resurfacing of the disks... At least that part is settled...

I also got the run around for my loose driver seat (3rd time)..
