Hey Colin, the pic of the Z28 is a car that a friend of a friend bought at the auction. He paid $ 59,000.00 US. It looks ok in the picture but was poorly restored, lots of bondo, sagging doors, worn weatherstrips etc . The car is matching numbers though and documented. He just finished rebuilding and restoring it, put a little over $ 40,000.00 into it. He has been told by the appraiser that a numbers matching 302 Z28 like this can fetch almost a quarter million now. Imagine.

That Z is one popular ride and I can see why it commands big $$. She's a beauty.
I watch pretty well every episode of B/Jackson and I'm reminded as many times of how I wish I'd kept my '68 Shelby GT500 convert.
.It certainly would have been worth a 'frame-off' at somewhere like Legendary Motor Cars.
