If you ever get a chance to go on SheiKra Shane, do it. When you are standing in line looking up at the top of the drop, you can only wonder what the hell are you thinking going on this thing. But it was a hoot. Hanging face first 200 ft. above the ground waiting for the drop was breathtaking. I wish I could have taken a picture but I was too busy holding on to the "holy $hit" handles.

My wife says that it the best pose, especially if lighting them up Which by the way, it has no trouble doing with launch control.

Hey Colin, the pic of the Z28 is a car that a friend of a friend bought at the auction. He paid $ 59,000.00 US. It looks ok in the picture but was poorly restored, lots of bondo, sagging doors, worn weatherstrips etc . The car is matching numbers though and documented. He just finished rebuilding and restoring it, put a little over $ 40,000.00 into it. He has been told by the appraiser that a numbers matching 302 Z28 like this can fetch almost a quarter million now. Imagine.

It's amazing what money there is now in good, old rides these days....
That Z is one popular ride and I can see why it commands big $$. She's a beauty.

I watch pretty well every episode of B/Jackson and I'm reminded as many times of how I wish I'd kept my '68 Shelby GT500 convert. .
It certainly would have been worth a 'frame-off' at somewhere like Legendary Motor Cars.

TNX for posting those pics....I love 'em.
C.

Shane, Colin and a few others have shown their mug on here so I though a picture might explain my old time point of view. Still very young at heart when it comes to cars though.

For anyone that might care. The shots of Josh and our stable are at our home in Edmonton.

WOW i saw a white M5 the other day..if i were to get one itwould have to be that colour ...stable looks great...

It would probably scare the pants off of me too Deane, but I would just have to try it.
