I don't keep my cars outside of their warranty periods - at least not the majority of my past cars. For that reason, I do what the manufacturer recommends. i used to be obsessed with using synthetic, but it just seemed to be a waste in my case as I didn't lengthen the change intervals.

Keep in mind, my driving is ideal for oil. I am about 98% hwy and rarely make short trips. My commute to/from work is 20 min/direction at 110-120kms/hr. Oh, and I don't rev the hell out of the car (I'm gettin' old it seems...)
so i called my dealership and they said nothing to me on the phone and said i had to book an appoinment for 2 weeks away and that it costs $100-150 to tell me. thats retarded. its just a light they could just tell me on the phone what to do...STEALERSHIP...if anyone finds out how to get rid of it please let me know as well
You can't reset it or anything like that - if you don't have sensors, it will always be on. For the '06 coupe it blinks for the first minute or so and then just stays on after that. It does not ever shut off but I don't ever notice it now although I am looking forward to it going off when I put the summers back on in a few months.
