I think that the time around the holiday season brings out the worst drivers.

On Boxing Day, some guy in a new sub-compact thought that he could squeeze between a truck and the curb to by-pass the line of cars waiting to leave the lot (he was trying to turn right to another parking area). Those of us in the line-up outside Best Buy awaiting entrance, heard a loud, painful screeeeeeeech-scraaaaaaaatch as we turned to see this guy destroy the side of his car on the truck's bumper!

A few days later, some idiot in the CDN Tire lot pulled out of his spot in front of me. Despite me laying on the horn, he never stopped and continued to back out, and proceed on his merry way.

I went out on a call (new Hospital Discharge Bridging Project I volunteered to help out with. Gotta love the $300 I got for doing the 15 minute visit ) on Jan 31st. I was driving down one of the freeway exchanges and my heart almost stopped! Coming at me on the wrong side of the concrete barrier was a Hummer H2! It's like a huge brick heading right for your head, and is quite a shock to see!

Traffic in the New Year seems to have settled down here however.

 

hey Colin...those puppies are adorable. My kids have been bugging me to get them one. I'm glad you and they are ok and nothing serious happened.

Yes Chico, those guys are so precious to me. At home it's just them and me. and indeed make coming home a real pleasure and something I look forward to every time.
I'd love to share them with you guys at a meet or some such event, and in fact did bring a previous pet Prince (he's the tan cocker in my signature pic next to Sid's baby pic)....but for a parking lot meet it's not very fair.
I know you'd all love them..they're great kids....

Maybe a meet at a park somewhere , and have a picnic for a few hours in the afternoon.....
Would be fun... let's see what '07 brings.....
