lg777, sorry, did not mean to hijack your thread.

No problems...we're still talking about tires.

I am going with this setup:
225/55/17 Front and Rear

From what most people in here have done, the tire size above all around seems to keep VDC happy etc.

Dunlop WinterSport M3.
I was quoted about $1800 out the door. This also included some cheap rims like BSA264. I read last night about the CSA gladiator and therefore am going to inquire about those as well. I like the CSA's more than the BSA's

What you think? Sorry, I dont know much about this offset stuff and what else to look for when replacing OEM tires and rims with a winter setup of equivalence.

Thanks for your input
Personally, I think that doesn't look too bad, but you might want to give Tire Rack a call. This is the link to the deal I did some time ago when the currency rate wasn't quite as favourable as it is right now.

Here's the link to my purchase:

Yeah , ok...well what i meant was sorry for shifting the attention from your tire related question to mine.

akrus
I prefer to deal with someone locally so that i can get it installed right away

Very good pricing though. Thanks for the link.

I keep seeing that Jerry was the man to go to for a winter setup and such for our cars but that was when he was with Infiniti of Yorkville. I believe he is with Mazda now. I sent him a PM awhile back but did not get a response.

Do you know if he still does this and if so, can I get a contact number please.

Thanks again

I tried Jerry when I did my purchase and he couldn't come close. I have no idea as to whether or not he still deals in tires.

I have had good experiences with Steelcase tire as well - I bought Nokians from there and thought the price was excellent as well as the performance of the Nokians. I'm surprised I forgot all about those tires...

Ah k cool...
i will give steelcase a call tomorrow.

I have already tried megawheelz.com, tire world, tires23 and Cheap thrills. The cheapest out of the 3 was megawheelz being at $1710 and the highest being $1800, all out the door. I will make calls tomorrow for quotations and then settle on one of them.
