Car Issue
Car Issue
I went to start up my car today after work and I let it warm up for about 3min due to Cold *** weather. So I backed up out off the parking space and I put the car into drive and when i went to step on the accelerator It was down to the floor so i couldn't give it any gas, you can practiculy lift the peddle with your foot but once you let go it falls straight down to the floor.
Any Idea's what the problem could be?
Did a hose burst?
Any Idea's would be gratefull.
Thanks
Rich

CAll Infiniti for a tow and have them sort our the problem. Don't try to drive it yourself.
The G'd throttle is a Drive-By-Wire settup that is controlled by computers which apparantly aren't controlling it properly.

Did you get a flash light & look under the dash to ensure all the linkages were still connected? Is there maybe a return spring or mechanism that has come apart?
Maybe this is just your cars way of saying "Hell NO, I'm not going out in that!"
It is damn cold today.
Good luck.
