In that case I think I'll pass on the Sentra.
FWIW, the Sentra has been manufactured in Mexico dating back to the 90s and IIRC has had a pretty decent reliability history.

Excellent Ian. Lucky girls. Once they learn are you gonna let them sit in the Drivers seat of the Z4?

Very good choice. We owned one a few model years older.

Looks great Ian excellent choice. I'm sure she will be extremely happy. My oldest daughters first car was a Nissan Sentra and my younger daughter had a Honda Civic with M/T, both were great cars. Now the oldest has a Nissan Almera in England and the other has a m/t Honda Accord. Great cars.

Thanks guys....
It was fun watching her get her first car.... we all remember what that was like
She's a bit of a car nut too, always wants to know what I'm doing next.

The Civic is a great little car.
This is the first time I've really looked at them.
The 5 MT is an easy car to learn on as well.
We spent a couple of hours around town yeaterday, then she drove to Guelph to show her sister.
She took to the 5MT, like a duck to water.

ah that's great Ian, it's such a worry on their first drive over a long distance especially during the winter months. Hopefully the weather was good for her drive.
Tell P to have a Tequilla for me now that she can relax.
