96K service

Hello

Called up Oakville Infiniti to get my belts looked at. They suggested that I get the 96K maintenance done to cover anything I may need. Also getting recall work done at the same time. They said something about an upgrade to the cars computer. Anybody heard of this or know what it is? I've got an 03 sedan. Just curious really.

Do you have any further info on this " upgrade" to the computer?

That's all they said, and I checked the infinitihelp site and no indication of any computer recalls. I'll call them on Monday and get more info I guess.

There's probably a reflash now available for your ride to update your comp.
Nothing to do with a TSB or recall.
Those reflashes come up occasionally.

was just a reflash as per the above comment.

Time to vent....
Had to bring it in on Monday due to the nasty noise it started making, got the 96k service, had to replace all the belts. Got the car home monday night and popped the hood to see one of the belts was split. Took it back in Tuesday morning and they replaced it. Drove home from work , pulled in the driveway an started hearing a loud hissing noise. Front passenger tire was leaking, called CAA they pulled a now show on me. So my G is sitting in my driveway with a flat :-( Now I've got to drive a 99 Taurus around till I can get some time to swap my tires. Not a great week for me so far.

Rough. I feel for you not being able to enjoy your ride in some nice weather. You should call CAA and let them know you had a no show.
So, did you do the reflash? What did the reflash get you? What did it set you back?

Forgot to ask, I was so pre-occupied with all the trouble with the car. I will be calling CAA tomorrow. Still need a tow to get the tries swapped over. So they're gonna get an earful. LOL 96k service and belts replaced about $800 and change :-(
