Since your tires are "2 days old" there will be warranty on them for blowout.
Patched tires are definitely not as good and apparantly lose their speed rating. You definitely want a new one..

The Cats.....well I guess since the system is modified, then warranty won't apply....sorry about that...Check around some boneyards (by phone) and see if they have any OEM's for your ride...otherwise get your chequebook out, they're pricey.

At least you don't have the flu this year.....things are lookin' up..

As for the CATs, I got an used set awhile back then. I was having the philosophy of you would never know what will things happen next while the MSRP for an OEM CAT is so freaking expensive...

P.S. Thanks others for the suggestion ... I have just got my tire patched this morning but is really worried that it would affect the performance of the tire...
Absolutely go to the retailer with you Bill of Sale....
You shouldn't have any issues getting a replacement for a blown out 2 day old tire.

On another note, do you have trouble going up/down your garage ramp with the 335 coupe? I thought the coupe was lower than my car ...
I was serious. How's Friday the 13th for you? I know, ironic day to choose given this thread...

My 335i coupe misses scraping by about 1 millimeter (literally), but I am lowered on coil-overs and have a front lip. It's really, really close!

Hey Ian - I am on H&R sport now. I have KW V2 coming. I am planning on keeping the ride height the same; I like the H&R ride height.

Trying to get the Eisenmann exhaust too, but they are being slow.

Thanks for the info Collins, I would definitely try that tmr and see what they would say.. I ordered through my company, but I don't see that being of a problem if they do offer a warranty for a 2 day old tire that is punctured.

You meant you never have any punctures or never had any problem with a patched tire?

Honestly, I was to go with the Goodyear F1-GS D3 which has apprantely been ranked very high in handling and wet performance (even tho it is such an old technology when compared to Michelin PS2). But they stopped manufacturing it and the retailer didn't have my 255 / 35 / 19 size anymore.

Anyhow, after my NISMO front (Hey Chico, it has already been on and clear-bra(ed) lol....) and the PS2 tires... I don't really want to put in anymore money...+ I will be spending a pretty penny to install my D-Specs...

Thanks alot guys tho, you guys made my day (bday)

Godman!

It's been a while ... I've been hiding ... getting my life together! So I know what it feels like when 'misfortune' hits, as it hit me quite hard last year.

I'm back now though!

Just wanted to say "Happy Belated" ... hope this year is a good one for you bro! We all have our 'off / bad' days ... but they will soon pass!
