Guelph Infiniti

anyone dealt with the sales staff at guelph infiniti? ive been talking to pat foote. he seems alright. there was this other guy (deepa) that kept pressuring me. one day i sent guelph infiniti an email via their web site(which happened to be answered by deepa). i specifically requested that they only contact me through email. Lo and behold i get a phone call within 2 days from deepa trying to tell me that availability may be a problem....guess what, i want the car in march 2004!!! then the guy calls me back and disturbs me at home. i hate these types of sales people. i finally got in touch with pat foote and so far things have been good. HE claims that march availability not an isuue. im gonna be closing a deal with him within a month. i managed to negotiate $1200 over dealer cost ($38790) for the sedan with aero package 6MT. im kinda curious about the AWD though. anyone know the cost price of the AWD plus premium package or could they tell me what price they negotiated.

Re: Guelph Infiniti

I've dealt with Guelph Infiniti b4, tho I haven't bought from them. I've even dealt with Deepa Bisla -- the fella you mentioned, and agree that he's a real go-getter.
All in all a decent dealership, except that I did better pricewise somewhere else. (Brantford Nissan/London Infiniti) whom I also feel gives better service.
I live in Cambridge BTW. and you?
I don't know the G35X price. You'll have to check around.
Good luck with your purchase. Let us know how you do with your negotiations.

Re: Guelph Infiniti

I've just had my 6000 Km service performed at Guelph Infiniti and found them to be very good in that transaction. I've also dealt several times with the service department at Yorkville Infiniti and Jerry has always been great help. I got the car from Woodchester Infiniti, an experience that was not at all to my satisfaction. (I travel a bit for service as Waterloo does not have an Infiniti dealership.)

Re: Guelph Infiniti

I bought my car from Deepa. I think he mainly works in the used car showroom next door.. enough said.

Service department is great though.. very pleasant to deal with, especially Judy, although no Infiniti (or even Nissan) loaners!! They'll rent you something from Enterprise.

Re: Guelph Infiniti

Just wanted to leave my $0.02. Understanding the fact that 2 different individuals may have 2 different opinions/view of a person, I wanted to let you know of my experiences with Guelph.

Service - nothing short of superb. Like mentioned above, I rec'd a loaner from Enterprise when they didn't have one on the lot for me to use. TSB's and general service, have been painless.

Sales - I'm on my 6th vehicle, picking it up sometime later this week. G35 M6 w/Performance. I have always dealt with Deepa, and at this point would be hard pressed to buy another car from anyone else.

the kicker... I drive 2.5hrs to deal with Guelph. The Windsor dealership lacks maturity and knowledeable service staff (I could go on for hours with factually info), and the London dealership is very manipulative, and I personally have had nothing but poor (at best) service from them in the past.

Just my opinion of course.. to each their own

Re Deepa

Yeah, I guess most are fine to deal with at first...the true test comes when there is a problem! That being said, this Deepa (whom I dealt with) couldnt care less! His cheque is in his pocket..."Not my problem"!

Very pushy as well...I would not deal with him again!

Like someone said in an earlier post....He's a used car salesman!

A followup to my original post: I've since had some service and warranty done by Guelph Infiniti, and they've been very good. I will return there, and recommend them to my friends.

Well I bought the car from Deepa as well, and all I can say is he does press hard in the beginning to see how serious you are. Understandable that he doesn't want anyone wasting his time, not saying you aren't serious. My friend and I have bought both of cars from him, and the experience went pretty smoothly. When the time comes again would I give him a call, for sure to see if again he can get my best price.

I purchased my car from a sales girl named Kim at Guelph Infiniti. Very nice to deal with , was not pushy and I was pleased with my deal. Six months prior to that I took out a couple of G35s with a sales girl named Judy, also a pleasant experience.
I have had the G in for regular servicing a couple of times and I have no complaints.

I purchased from Deepa. He knows what he's doing and I got a good deal from him... better than any other dealer.

My 3rd Nissan product from Guelph Infiniti-Nissan

I am on my 3rd Nissan product I purchased from Guelph Nissan. A 1989 240 SX, a 2000 I30T, and a 2003 G35 sedan. I have had no problem with them what so ever. Actually it has been reverse. When the delivery of my G35 was late, they picked up the cost of tinting the windows. I have always had excellent service and a loaner has always been there when I needed one. I too travel quite a ways for my maintenance...3.5 hours but it is worth it. When I was looking at the G, I went to Infiniti dealerships in Eastern Ontario, and none came close to the price, and service I get from Guelph Nissan. As a matter of fact, when I am ready to trade my G in on a M45, I'll be going to Guelph for my purchase!

They're good for sure Shecky, I'll go back myself when needed.

That's great to hear you're thinking of an 'M'. You'll love it too.
