For those of you in Canada that have a lowered 2WD G35 (coupe or seda), do you drive the beast in the winter?

I have an 03 G35 6MT Coupe, with a decent set of winters, I have had no problem for 3 winters now. I live in Guelph, so we do get a decent amount of snow in an average season.

So what is my problem? I really want to lower my coupe (by 1"-1.25"), but my worry is that winter driving will become impossible. Any experience from the folks here?

I used to have a lowered integra and it was rock solid in the snow with a set of winter rubber. So I do have some hope that the G will be able to perform as well.

Please advise

 

I'm driving a 03' Sedan lowered on Eibachs. I put them on in October and drove all winter with no problems.

There are lots of folks around here with lowered suspension and I haven't heard of anyone complaining about winter driving issues.

I'm sure others will chime in.

If you really want to be safe, invest in a set of adjustable coil-overs.

 

I've got a coupe that's lowered on H&R sport springs and drove it all winter with snow tires.......never had a problem.

 

I'm also driving a 03 sedan lowered on OEM 350Z springs. With a decent set of snow tires, you'll be fine. I've been through two winters with no issues.

I love the H&R's....they look great and the ride is very close to stock. Best springs I've ever owned! Here are some pics.
