Yep, I deleted the thread Ian. While I would of loved to keep the thread open for the AC Cobra chat, I had to delete it due to its street racing nature.

We can continue chatting about the AC Cobra in this thread though.

LMC had a 67 Cobra for sale. **Drools**

Legendary Motor Car (LMC) Rocks, they have a lot of nice cars there. Not cheap though
In case people reading this have not been there or visited their site near Milton it is here: http://www.legendarymotorcar.com/
I wouldn't mind going there again this year.

Guess I missed that part

I was over at Superformance in Concord one day....
Their shop was filled with them.
They're also now building GT40 reps.

These things aren't just a f/g body thrown on a tube frame...
They're very close to original.
They come over as a finished rolling chassis.
Then add powertrain of choice.

I'd love to build one of these babies.

Superformance

^that's cool Ian. There are a number of companies that reportedly are doing a great job of replicating them.

You're not the only one that would love to build one of these. However I have a wife that would bring me back to reality.

Hello Moderator,

I am the person who started the Cobra thread.

As far as I am concerned, I did not mention anything about street race nor did I encourage anyone on this forum to have any street race in GTA

I did have a little run with the Cobra driver but I believe both of us were driving less than 70km/h knowing that there were lots of cops in that section...

I didnt check the Toronto traffic law but I believe as long you are obeying the speed limit, then it doesn't matter how fast you accelerate off the red light due the the nature of hp differences in different cars..

I opened that thread simply hoping that i could get some more information about that car compared to ours (spec, model, name, hp, etc.,)

Of course, you have the right to delete any improper comments under that thread but I do not think its a fair decision to delete the entire thread.
