+1 Shane. They're playing well. We've got a good chance no matter who the opponent is.

Shane, I missed the game this afternoon (too busy) but just caught it on SportsCenter......and Yahooooo...the Sens did it in style.

Emery is a big, big factor -- kudos to him , he's awesome....

Then of course there's Alfredsson's, Heatley's, and Spezza's performance today: simply splendid......

DOMO ( Ithink that's enough smilies------hahahahaha)

Bring on the 'Big Dance'.....The Sens are hungry to do well in their first appearance.......

Yeah, I missed the game as well today Colin as I was detailing a Porsche all day. Heck, I didn't even know it was an afternoon game.......I figured it was being played tonight and planned on watching it. Oh well, I am just glad they won.

Yeah, it went well today Deane......or at least I think it did. It is sitting in my garage tonight and I have a coat of Natty's Blue's paste wax to put on in the morning. I didn't have a camera to take pictures today as the wife had it, but I'll take pictures tomorrow and post them up.

Good deal. I hope you had the pleasure of driving it too.

Hey Colin, it's a year ago you were here and we went out to have a look at the Bluenose Marathon. It's pouring rain here today for it. Miserable for the runners and volunteers.

Deane, my how that year flew by.....that was a very special visit which I enjoyed immensely......and hope to be able to do it again sometime...

Poor Bluenose runners and volunteers in that weather......yuk. but they had some good support along the way rooting for them and encouraging them and yelling "GIVE 'ER"..... That must make a world of differencet to the runners and keep their spirits up enough to keep going..

Kudos to you and H for going out in that stuff.........

If you have a link to a writeup on the race in a local paper, I'd love to read up on it. I may remember some of the names.

Cheers

I hope the SENs win it but the Ducks have the most Canadian players on thier roster out of the remaining 3 teams if that matters to anyone.

Of the remaining teams, the Sens is by far the best. The only thing that could play against them is the long break they're enjoying right now. Also the rough play the Ducks are playing could get in the head of the Big Three. I have a preference for the Red Wing to win the West Conference Final as I would love to see the Sens crush Hasek's dream to raise the cup above his head one last time.

After the win on Saturday, Ottawa went nuts!!! Can't imagine what would happen if we win the Cup. This year's Ottawa reminds me of Montreal in 1993 so I'm really confident this will be our year.

BTW, I'm surprised to see some Toronto Maple Leaf fan on this forum being big enough to put aside their pride and cheer for our team . On other forums, it's hate bashing LOL

LOL, bro, you bet it's tough for us die hard Leaf fans.....but hey, we've been waiting 40 yrs! for them to come thru.......

Sens are an awesome team and are very deserving of our support. GO SENS.

I too would love to see them stomp Detroit but I'll settle for the Ducks in the final. I think the Sens can handle them too.

I'm hoping their off time will have a positive affect on their performance :fingerscrossed: -- at least it'll give some a chance to lick their wounds.....

I'm really up for this year's final.. Unusual for me...

You're reading my mind on everything Colin. I'm not a huge hockey fan but am into this year with the Canadian potential to win. I hope for a Detroit rivalry and think the Sens will be well rested and hungry. This would be a big year for 48 year old Eugene Melnyck with his retirement and sale of Biovail $$$ and if the Sens won the cup.
