You can't.

Get an opinion from another dealer who is willing to try and confirm your transmission is working properly. From what you have described most recently it doesn't sound like you have a problem other than what InTgr8r described.

Did the intake service today, found the transmission 2-3 shift a lot better. Don't understand why intake clean can affect the transmission shift.

I know this is a old post, but my car start to have the same problem too!!!! It has 65k miles which warranty expired. I also know the RPM is a little weird at that time. The decline is not smooth and responsive.

Is this going to be a big issue? I am planning to keep this car for at least 4 more years and not looking forward to drop $7000 to fix it.

anyone who buys an auto transmission car should install a cooler as the first mod
