Jack saddle adapters?
I think its hilarious that I'm hijacking my own thread...
But wondered if anyone else using an aftermarket jack is using an aftermarket adapter to lift the car at the jack points (the notched part of the rails). There are some who talk about using a notched block of wood or a hockey puck in the saddle - but the Cdn Tire one I bought is a little too small to fit a puck- I did rest one on top of it and it worked fine for the front (until I finished the 2nd wheel and by that point it had split in half). The rears are fine since there's that little spot on the frame with the hole in it that I can rest the bare saddle on.
I know that some company's sell an adapter for like $20US that fits the 'notch' - anyone got this? How is it?

Colin: think it might be smarter to start a new thread for this?

I just use a block of 2x4 notched for the body lip and sit it on the saddle.
With care you can raise the car and slide the stand under and you're fine.
There is a proper adapter available, but I haven't bothered with it.
If nobody here has any info on it, PM Gordgee for info on the one he has.
I believe he has the proper saddle support -- not sure if it was homemade or store bought..
Colin.
Al, Gordgee has a rubber adapter available from Princess Auto. I have one too. Works great.
I received one of their flyers in the paper today. It's on sale now for $4.99 regular 8.99 Closest location to you is Sauga- Dixie and Midway (6608 Dixie Rd.)
Here are a couple of pics.

I've got a trip to Kitchener coming up this coming week (Wednesday) -- I'm sure I can find my way over to PA which is behind the Hortons that I meet Sam at occasionally......

.Do you, or anyone, know if they are a standard size?
I'll see what PA says too when I go.
