It was strange all right!

It was still half light at that time, so as I was coming up on it,
my brain was working overtime WTF is that?
Then it's an Atom

- That'd be great if they came to Halifax!
......hmmmmm I should have a few air miles by then

It was funny to see it on the street...DAMN it's small!
My Roadster felt HUGE riding his tail.
I Know, I know.... ...... but it was too dark to get a cell phone pic.
Wow Ian, that's one significant sighting alright. It is very unusual to see this small fellow so far north. No doubt we will not see it as soon as it gets colder out. Perhapse someone will stumble upon its nest.
Ian, you should call the Autobon Society and report this solitary little fellow.
I believe you need two independent sighting verifications for it to officially be here. Having said that, I believe you saw an AA or perhapse a CAA.
Too bad your were unable to put some salt on it's tail.DOMO or get a pic.

Soon enough, soon enough.
I'd go in today if I was able to follow an AA.

I can imagine wondering what was up. I was leaving a friends house about 3 weeks ago and saw a red F360 in the distance turning at an intersection. My brain was working overtime too as that's the first one I've ever seen this way.

Sounds like a plan. Only 40 minutes from here. No 3 hour + drive.

They're going to give me a call when they get closer. I've hooked them up with the track and a few other key people.

Glad to hear that you've been talking to AAE, Deane......That would be real cool if they came your way next summer.......We'll have to stay abreast of those possible dates....

Yeah, that will be cool if it happens. Sounds like we'll all have to watch for it.

This month's GrassRoots Motorsports mag has a feature on the Atom vs. Locost. Just finished reading the article which reminded me to check this thread for pics.

They don't have the article online, but you can look for their mag at Chapters/Indigo. It's the October '07 issue with a blue WRX wagon on it.

Here's a linky to the mag's site: http://grassrootsmotorsports.com/

Practical motorsports on the cheap; one of my favourite mags.
