Can someone recommend...

a dent removal shop in the Kitchener area???

My car was the victim of a baseball sized rock on the 401 this morning and the hood/windshield took a good hit. Anyone with experience in having these dents repaired, I'd like to hear from you. Should I just keep an eye out for another hood??

Why couldn't it just hit the windshield??? I've already got a chip there, so it needed to get replaced sooner or later...

Anyway, here are some pics:

I don't know if that ding can be removed via the dent removal method. It looks like it has a crease in it( the ding is not smooth).
It might have to be hammered out and filled.

Check first with a local dent removal service.

Could you take a couple of close up pics from different angles?

I found one place in your area, but I don't know how good they are...

How ironic that they're located on "Stone" drive... sorta like an ongoing reminder..

I'll see about posting better pics tomorrow. The mark that looks like a crease, is where the rock "skid" across the hood. I'll probably look at some of the dent repair places over the weekend. Mind you, I may not even deal with it until I decide what I'm doing with the car at lease end.

Thanks for the words - the rock was literally the size of a baseball. Made me glad that I wasn't riding a bike when it decided to try and take me out

With all the stone chips on the hood, it hardly troubles me greatly, but I know that the dealer *may* notice it when returning, so it's probably got to be dealt with. Keep in mind, I've got the car for another 2 years...

Yes, sorry to see that happen to your car. I think Bill may be right about the severity and the crease. Good luck getting it fixed up. You may as well get it done now since you know it will have to be repaired or paid for upon your lease return.

Only thing that bugs me about repairing it now, is if it happens again... that would really suck!

I'm sure it's going to drive me insane to look at it as it is right now though.

Holy shjt. Were you hit while you were moving through an underpass? That's one big rock to be thrown up on the road.
Queensway Auto Body on Gage in Kitchener did a bang up job on my G. Their work passed Kevin's scrutiny. Rob was the point guy for me. You might be right about geting another hood from a wrecker.
If you want their Number or a personal intro. let me know.

Ouch, a rock that size could have caused more damage if it hit the windshield. Good luck with the repairs.
