Oil Change
i got my oil change done today at walmart....a friend of mine said they did a good job on his truck, and to my suprise they actually did a good job and it was only $60 for their synthectic using mobil1.
The original deal presented to me was for regular oil but I insisted on Synthetic.
Agincourt bumped the price up a little for the package but its what I wanted. I don't think anyone before me had asked for it( that was in 2002).
I figured an oil change with full synthetic would be around $90 or more, so put 2 and 2 together...4 to 5 oil changes per year...I couldn't pass it up.
At the time it was around $600...

I was unaware that ifiniti had deals like that for oil changes. I knew caddilac had deals that, but that was about it. So is there anyway infiniti can still arrange such a thing for fee ofcourse?

It's possible that they took out only the rear most 4 or 6 bolts for access to the drainplug and/or filter....
If it were mine I"d be checking the oil level too.
I do my own changes so no matter who would do mine, I'd have a look anyway......
I expect that everything is fine.....but it doesn't hurt, or take but a minute, to look.

a$$ ol who did the oil changes before I bought the G cut a smallish hole in the cover so they could get at it.

I promise I don't work for Agincourt Infiniti
, but while I was waiting for my oil change to be done, I saw that they have an "oil changes for life" package that was $599. I suspect the price is higher for synthetic but if you're in the GTA I'd call and see what the upcharge is for synthetic. The $599 covers oil changes every 6,000kms or 3months, whichever comes first.

, but i will call and ask about the oil change for life. Please post what you find out. I thought seriously about signing up for the plan but $599 is a lot to shell out all at once! Plus, I never know if I'll be close enough to this dealership longterm to make it work.

I never had too much issue with it but I know many have.....
I hope to hell he's gone to payroll or some other department.....

Haha, yes the dipstick is a classic too.
Hopefully he went to the competition!

Okay, this is a little pathetic but I'm excited about the first oil change in my new/old G this weekend. Just feels good to treat my baby right.
