They finally improved the dipstick location on the 07 sedan and it is now probably one of the easiest of cars to check now.

Yeah, I've seen that change. Definitely a big improvement.

My Dad has an '06 Frontier 4.0 and he was complaining one day about the dipstick. It's definitely no work of art either. Then I showed him mine and he couldn't believe it.

My M's d/stick is ok too......I haven't compared it to the new Sedan yet, but I will soon when we trip up to Kincardine to see Wayne and K.

It does make one feel so good to do something nice like change the oil .-- It definitley runs better with fresh oil and clean paint.......

Does that sound too steep?
That is way steep for Royal Purple. I recommend AMSOil if you can get it over anything else out there. Otherwise, I like Motul if I can't get AMSOil.

^You're in the Canadian section my friend. Synthetic changes (mobil 1) at my dealer are $105.

If I had a dollar for every US bro that thought our Canadian prices were high I would buy a new G for all our fellow Canucks.

I bought a case of AMSoil on sale (PartSource again), plus a couple of Wix filters. I figure my diy o/c will end up costing about $50.

Song "Upholstery" by Paul Williams, from the movie Phantom of the Paradise. Strange movie, but pretty good for its time.

Free association at work...could be the Pacifico beers I had with my fajitas for supper (hic)

Trust me my friend I know where I am. I go to T.O. every year for Christmas just so I can visit all my good friends out there, hit up Boxing Day for the killer sales everywhere, but not before I grab my large cup of coffee from Tim Horton's. Now I know that there is a slight disparity between the USD and CD but $105 to change your oil? So do they make you grab your ankles when they put the dip stick back? I am sure that you can find a cheaper place to get it done. For God sakes it's an oil change!
