Anybody Use their G35 coupe in the winter?

Does anybody use their G35 coupe in the winter?

If so, do you guys experience transmision problems in cold weather?

Any other problems?

Mine won't shift into 5th until it warms up then its OK

Oldbread, It's normal for the tranny to avoid 5th gear when cold. It helps with warmup.
I use my Coupe in the winter (mostly only when it's clear and the roads are dry) altho I don't like to. It's my only ride.

My coupe sits in the garage all snug and warm waiting for the snow to go away.

In the winter I'm an "all wheel driver"

Yes, I routinely get stuck on my street trying to get up my driveway. 3 times last week. I think my clutch is toast from trying to rock the car out so many times.. you'd think I'd learn :P

I find the tranny very tough to shift when the temp gauge is still creeping up (i.e. before it gets to it's normal 1/2 position). And just after starting I pretty much have to force it into first.

I think the stability is a little too obtrusive.. I'm tempted to drive with it off sometimes but it has saved me from a potentially bad accident once already..
