So where do you guys get your oil change done? Dealership? I hope I'm not overdue for mine - Mileage: 4100km, Usage: approx. 3.5 months.

You can get it changed anywhere you trust as long as you keep reciepts and records. I think it's good to get the first couple done at the Dealer since there are usually a couple things to do or get checked out on a new car. I have had my sunroof side finishers fixed up and my grille replaced at the first couple of oil changes.

If just an oil change, I bring my own Mobil 1 to Mr. Lube and watch them actually do the change, instead of sitting in the car.

What do you pay with your own oil? Do you use their filter or bring your own?

I don't remember, but its just a basic shop charge. Mr. Lube provides the OEM Nissan filter.

I got lazy yesterday and used our new Jiffy-Lube. Great facilities, good service which seemed very professional, and reasonably priced:

Charged me $23.99 + taxes for their mult-point service and oil filter. I supplied the 5 liters of Castrol Syntec...

No it wasn't on my M or Type S, but on my sweetheart's Grand Marquis, tho I don't think I'd shy away from them in a pinch......

The oil I get for my rides is Mobil 1 from Part Source which occasionally goes on sale at $29.99 for 5 liters. (+tax)

Filters I get from the dealers for my rides.
For the 'Brontosaurus', I went with Jiffy Lube.....

C.
