Crrrraaaaaaapp.
I hate no choice.
On the topic of buying in the USA. Outside of the Infiniti brands... my business partners have all bought from the US for the last 4-5 years. Its always been used. Some with only 5K miles. They have not had any issues with US dealers.

US gauge faces do have km on them. It's just a smaller ring within the outer mph markings. The gas would also be measured in mpg, instead of liters. Also, no daytime running lights which are required in CAD.

Don't know what you're talking about with regards to gas measuring in MPG. Is that part of the nav system that measures fuel economy?
I'm about to buy my '07 g35 coupe in Ohio. Michigan was willing to sell me one too. I guess it depends on the state and dealership, since Chicago and New York dealerships told me they can't sell.
Ohio just changed their laws that allows them to sell to Canadian's without charging State Sales Tax. Sweet stuff. At least the US government is smarter than the Canadian lol

here is what is required:

- The vehicle must bear a manufacturer's valid U.S. statement of compliance label at the time of importation.
- The Registrar of Imported Vehicles will mail a Canadian statement of compliance label to you after passing the federal inspection.
- Valid alpha-numeric 17-digit VIN
- Metric speedometer and odometer labels (provided by inspection centre)
- Daytime running lights
- Infant restraint kit
- Child tether anchorage (refer to Admissibility List)
- 8 km/hour bumpers (refer to Admissibility List)
- French supplementary restraint system label for airbags that require periodic maintenance
and here's the admissibility list:
