Hey Shane how goes with you guys?
I'm sure our weather was a little cooler than what you've been getting,
but it was perfect for getting around Paris.
Only had one day that was cool & cloudy, most days were 16 - 18°C & sunny.

I posted some pics here if you want to check them out.
I loved your pics of Paris. Anissa and I are considering going there next year. I'll have to chat with you more when I get back and here all about your trip.

My daughter and family just left to go back to England and and I was impressed by her picture quality from her Canon. So I retired my Sony Cybershot V1 today and bought a Canon Powershot G9.
I'll have to get together with you for some pointers.

I couldn't be happier with mine.
It's not an SLR but it's no pocket cam either.
The review that sold me on the G7 was done by a pro magazine pho-tog,
After reviewing the camera, upon having to return it... he went out & bought one.

Today we had it narrowed down to the Sony Cybershot H9 and the Canon G9. The Canon won out. We just got home from shopping a few hours ago and the battery is in the supplied charger now .

I have a source for some hi-cap batteries at a great price.
You might be surprised how few pics you get from the OE battery on the initial charge.
It gets much better on subsequent recharges.
