Anytime. Thanks for your reply. The Murano sounds like a great choice for you.Originally Posted by akrus
Thanks everyone, I appreciate the kind words.Picked up the Murano this afternoon and got a couple of quick pics in before the rains hit. Also, one last pic of the G - I'm going to miss it, I'm sure.
So far I'm enjoying the move, even the CVT seems to perform really well. This would make for one terrifically smooth limo transmission...

^nice. Looks great in your driveway. Doesn't look a hardship to give up the G for that.
- brakes - the Murano's brakes are great, but the G is phenomenal, for factory. I can tell the Murano has longer braking distances, just with the short seat time I've had;
- HID lights - came into the office this morning (about 5 am) and it was rainy/dark - I've been so spoiled with the Maxima and G HIDs, you really forget what other lights are like. The Murano's lights are fine, but it'll take me a while to get used to the yellowish tint to the beam
With the rear view camera, it's actually easier to park than the G - go figure...

I hear you on those other things. I drive a Dodge Caravan daily or my wife's Sunfire so I'm familiar with even bigger gaps from the G's finer points. Originally Posted by akrus
