Do I need to raise my car?

Should I raise my car? or do you think the clearance is ok?

Car with summers:

I think it would be much better (safety/looks) if you raise it a bit, but thats just my opinion.

Does it rub? it seems like it would rub pretty easy.

I don't think that will rub. Raising it will make it easier on you in the winter. I don't raise mine, though.

Peter,

What are the size of your summer tires vs your winter set up?

If you are not rubbing during the summer season and the outside diameter of your winter tire is the same, you will not have to worry about rubbing.

I've been getting quotes on insurance and they always ask about mods/restoration. What do they ding you for, say, lowering?

I think they dinged him with - lowering = no insurance. Funny, I'm never asked about mods.
