Willing to ship. Very willing.

First scrape off of the season for the G this morning. Freezing rain, yuck. On the plus side, both windshields are heated. Does anyone put silicon or anything on the wiper blades?
Be safe out there.

Wow! nice lookin' house there! Let's see some more pics of that. Where is it?

I'm in Kitchener and we have very little on the ground. Maybe a cm or two. Some freezing rain and plenty of ice pellets at the moment.

The first drive in slick stuff with the Murano and I'm likin' it! AWD and new tires (even though they're only all season) does provide a decent amount of stability.

whatacar With respect to the comment about "both windshields are heated", do you just mean the rear defrost grid and the interior defroster setting for the front? Or does the front of the coupe have a defroster grid as well??

How old is the log house? Curious as to your experiences in owning a log home. Do you have the settling problems with doors/windows getting tight? I've always loved the look of them.

Thanks for the added pic, looks like a nice quiet spot.

We built it ourselves... when we were young & foolish.
& since we're just foolish now.... it was a while ago.

Yeah... settling factor has to be designed in.
Allowance is 1" per foot of wall height.
Doors & windows are on slip fit splines.
Interior walls have floating couplers.

What an amazing amount of engineering that has to go into the proper build of those homes. I could surely spend a fair bit of time looking at all the details in one of those houses.

I guess I've taken this off topic quite bit - sorry guys!

got it here too today, pretty miserable now, ice pellets falling mostly, nice coat of ice on everything, and nothing but grease on the roads.

i'm starting to think my snow tires suck.

but i'm glad it's snowing, driving's interesting again.

As expected, we are getting all rain here in southern NB......thank god. Edmunston in northern NB is getting pounded in a big way. They are now supposed to receive well over 40 cms of snow by the time it's done.

Ian, that is a beautiful log home you have. Looks like you've got tons of privacy as well. Very nice!

Looking at the radar images on twn.ca, it appears that the precip is over for us in Kitchener/Guelph - definitely nowhere near what they predicted. Hoping there's a second band coming in!

Today's turkey-bowl day at the pub, so after my dentist appointment, it's watch football, drink Guinness, have some turkey, more Guinness, more football, more Guinness... stagger home...
